I have reached out to Wayfair and they forwarded my return request to the manufacturer. Personally I think it was damaged in transit but there were chips in the paint on most of the drawers so maybe not. I would have just touched it up with some paint but then while unpacking it I noticed huge damage to one of the side drawers that would make it impossible to assemble. Much of the Styrofoam packaging was crumbled and getting all over the place which made it all the more infuriating as I had spent an hour slowly unpacking and wiping down the pieces. The dresser has a really nice modern look, and the black oak color looked beautiful right out of the box. Unfortunately, two of the pieces arrived broken during delivery, so we weren’t able to fully assemble it yet. The good thing is that Wayfair responded very quickly when I reached out and immediately started helping resolve the issue, which I really appreciated. From what I could see, the design and overall appearance are very nice, and I think this was more of a shipping issue than a product issue. This is a cute dresser. It took awhile to put together because I was solo, but it was an easy and fun build. I think of these things like grown up Lego. The reason I did not give it five stars is because the drawers are very shallow. It’s smaller than I was picturing in my head. My daughter loves it and has no problem with the size, though.. Mary.
