Because it is so deep, my plants had plenty of room to stretch their roots, and it produced an absolute monster of a garden for me this season! Tomatoes, herbs, and deeper-rooted veggies thrived way better than I expected in a container setup. Overall, I’m really happy with this garden bed. There’s plenty of room for different plants and vegetables, and I really like that I’ll actually be able to walk through it and easily get to everything. The wood pieces are really well made and everything fit together nicely without needing any adjustments. The instructions were also clear and easy to follow. I would definitely recommend leveling the area before putting it together, though, since I could see an uneven surface causing some issues. My only real complaint is the way the taller posts are connected. They use small brackets and screws, and I’m a little concerned about how well those will hold up over time, especially with New England weather and repeated freezing and thawing. I think one larger, sturdier bracket would be a nice improvement. Other than that, it seems very solid and well designed. It’s a huge improvement over my old garden setup, and I’m looking forward to using it!. Jenny. Mashpee, MA. Wed Sep 23 2026
