I ordered these chair mats recently and was a little surprised that they felt pretty cold when they arrived. If you’re ordering during the winter, I’d recommend letting them sit at room temperature for a while before unrolling them. Once they warmed up and I followed the instructions, they flattened out without any issues. So far they’ve been working really well. My chair glides smoothly on the carpet now, which is a big improvement from before. They also look nice and are easy to wipe clean, so maintenance has been simple. I really love this play mat so far. It’s so squishy but not too squishy to be safe and has some grip that I think will make leaning to crawl etc easier for our baby. I love that I can wipe it clean and he’s not directly in the floor as well. The print is also adorable. I can already imagine him playing with his cars on the road print when he gets older. These are amazing. We have used them for camping and they’re incredible. Right now they’re in my living room being used as “furniture” while we wait for a new couch to arrive .
