I ordered two of these myself and a friend of mine installed them on a wooden platform that we built. We tied them down to the ground with under pinning and they have survived already two major hurricanes with 80 and 100 mile per hour winds. These are nice and roomy on the inside. They blend in great with the backdrop of the woods around my house with the light top color and without having any electricity nearby, the skylight that runs down the middle provides ample light on the inside.. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. Overall for price and size this shed is worth it. My only other suggestion would be to anchor it down to protect against adverse weather.. Anonymous. Cheshire County, NH. Tue May 05 2026

The sloped roof prevents water pooling, while ventilation and a window ensure fresh, dry interior air. A lockable door keeps contents secure, and the included floor base provides sturdy support

The shed is much lighter than I anticipated, which initially made me question how well it would hold up outdoors. However, after a strong rainfall, I was pleasantly surprised! It did a great job keeping everything dry and protected. So far, I’m pleased with the purchase, although only time will tell how well it holds up in the long run.. Nancy. Long Beach, CA.
