I loved this table when we got it. There was a very large flaw about the size of a dollar bill that I decided to live with. Then the first time we used it my glass sweat on the surface and it left a mark. I thought it would dry, the mark remained. Every drip leaves a permanent mark. When I tried to wipe the whole area, I took the gray was off. That was unacceptable to me so I lightly sanded the surface, filled the hole, gray washeded the surface and then put a finish coat on the whole thing. Absolutely stunning table!! It is a solid and sturdy piece and adding the additional two leaves in is very easy. The table is lighter in color than the online picture shows with a slight yellow undertone but overall the color is beautiful and works very well in our dining room. loved the table. but took all metal off (extension suports and extra metal feet part) - much better crude, only wood. when we need extensions, will pickup in the garage. after some months have passed....... the wood covering is just a cover, it chips and cracks - very sad, because the table is beautiful - but it won't last long years.. Even though it’s manufactured wood, it has a solid expensive highend feel and look! It arrived quick and really well packed. Assembly was straightforward and everything lined up well. Once assembled, the table feels sturdy and stable. The thick frame and pedestal-style base give it a substantial look while still allowing good leg room for chairs. At 86.7 inches long, the size works great for everyday dining and can comfortably seat several people when hosting. The minimalist design also makes it very versatile — it pairs nicely with many different chair styles. I used lighter wood chairs and love the contrast.
