Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. I'm underwhelmed by this. The quality of the components and mechanical parts seems below average. The seat attachment works about 85% - i can't get it to tighten down and stay square on the bowl. The float and water inlet are the same as a house brand toilet from a big box store i got a couple months ago. Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application.
