I do not recommend this handleset. It does not operate well at all. The lever is not straight and lockingunlocking the door is extremely difficult. The door does not latch easily either. Overall I’m really disappointed in this purchase. I would return the item, but it has already been installed in my brand new door and the holes have been drilled. I like how it looks like - kinda old style and cozy. I wasn’t sure which set do I need to select - left hand or right hand, but the support team helped me with it. Let me put the answer here, maybe it will help somebody else “Handing is determined by the exterior side of the door, whichever side the hinges are on.” The only concerning thing is that it’s hard to turn the lock, you need to put more forces than usual.
