The table looks like marble but it's actually sintered stone, the most durable and weather resistant table surface available. It's man made but all natural, made from minerals yet has no resins. I can put the hottest pot on it and it won't stain or burn, it's also non porous and hail resistant. Last hail storm didn't even leave a scratch or a chip. I love this table, pretty easy to assemble, the extendable design is great. It looks high quality and fits up to 8 people. The only feedback I have is that it holds water when it rains, you need to tip the table almost 90 degrees to get it all out. I purchased a waterproof cover for it, totally worth it.
