Adding more pics after I used a black sharpie on all the grout. Black grout is more like cement color. It made a huge difference to me. The other looked all washed out. I attached a couple pics of my backsplash to show the before and after of me professional sharpie touch-up. Backsplash is also from Wayfair. It will not be installed for a few weeks, so I can add that picture later. I bought this for a fireplace surround. I expected it to be a bit wider, but that was my issue. It clearly shows the size. Typical subway is a bit wider. I liked the bit of variation. I think it will look even better with the black grout I plan to use. The other is what I am planning for my backsplash. That will also be black grout and also from Wayfair. I do not know how they packed so much bubble wrap in the box. Not one tile arrived damaged. If it had, it would not have been for lack of trying. It is tile, so I can see how it could still get broken. I am happy it did not! I just placed my order for the remaining tiles. I had to order a box to really guage. Beautiful tile and beautiful detailing. Giving 4 out of 5 stars because it chipped in a couple spots upon install. Possibly just the contractor’s fault. I will say the color of grout makes a huge difference in the feel for this tile. I originally had Mapei grout, color grey. The installers didn’t mix the grout correctly and it came out blotchy and bleached out in places. I did a grout refresh on it to fix that issue and went darker with the grout, did Mapei grout refresh color black. Wow, looks so much better IMO!
