Installation is CONFUSING (lots of stupid little diagrams rather than words). Once you get past that, it works well and looks nice. As others have mentioned, the volume controls for each function do not do very much. You can barely tell the difference between fully turned on and fully turned down. I mistakenly bought this shower head on a whim without realizing that it was 1.75 gpm while my previous Grohe shower head was 2.5 gpm. The difference is noticeable. I tried to grin and bear it, but after a couple months I could no longer. With a bit of quick research I was able to find a solution which was to remove the flow regulator from the end of the handle.
