Just what I wanted.I have 2 cats and both have kittens and I needed one big enough I could put my cats with their babies in when I left the house on a 3 day vacation. Dont worry they have an automatic kitty litter box and they will have plenty of food and water as my friend will be over daily to check on them. It took us about 2 hours to put together but it was so worth it. I cant believe how well this was made, the screens that are on the walls are made of very good wire and the door in the front is nice too because I can actually fit right in there to feed them change their litter and most importantly love on them. Love this! Debated about the purchase for a while, but finally went for it, and my cats are in love. Its sturdy and assembly instructions are straight forward. Plenty of room for both of my large cats (about 12-14 lbs each). I added some finer screening around it to keep bugs out (just stapled it to the frame) and created a wood frame that fits inside my window so it can be secured without attaching it to the exterior of my house. It’s nice. Quality is good not the greatest some parts came dented (wood and cage material) but overall good quality. Sooooo many screws to put together so get your drill ready took three people for us to build but definitely minimum is two. We reinforced the platforms with extra screws and few other areas. Great catio but takes forever to put together. Had a very strong smell when we took the various parts out of the box but the smell has gone away now that we've placed it outside. Overall this catio is great. It was a little hard to build just because the parts were missing their stickers to identify them. I was able to figure it out and build it myself in about 3 hours total. The patio gets a little hot as it’s metal. So I added some greenery to provide some shade and privacy. My cats are a little skittish. I like that the catio has multiple shelves. I took off the hammocks because, again, my cats are skittish. The option to take off a piece is great since I have a window door for the cats to come I. And out of the house at their leisure. I had to add some shims because my concrete is at an angle to drain water. But that has nothing to do with the catio. I added some catnip at the bottom. It’s doing nicely. I am thinking of also adding some real grass at the bottom so my cats can roll on it. I have two cats. If of them is in there constantly. The other one is still deciding if she likes it. This catio is great, it only lost a star because it was a little difficult to build, it’s gets a little hotter than I would like (fixed with greenery).
