This is very sturdy and definitely a bit nicer looking than the plastic bases. So giving it four stars for that reason. Only taking away one star because I didn’t really think about how expensive it was going to be to fill this with rocks. It cost us another 200 in rocks to fill it so it is a very expensive umbrella base. If you think about it that way. Also, I had concerns about it safety especially with kids around after it arrived so I ended up buying black bumperspool noodles to put on it for safety reasons so that kind of takes away from the aesthetic look. The railing surface is galvanized, maintenance-free, and highly rust-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and UV-resistant.

Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
