They guided me through the whole process of pairing the remote and followed through a few days later to see how everything was working. Now it is working 100 perfect!! Terrific heater! We had an electric fireplace from another box store that the warming unit went bad in and I was unable to get any replacement parts for. The measurements of this unit were correct so I replaced the other heater with this and it has worked perfectly, it even looks better than the original!
