I would have liked a bit more distressing with the white, but it is very nice. The top appears very dark and has a beautiful mix of browns, grays, and what appears to be some green. Now I just need to find chairs/benches to match. It comes in two separate boxes and is very heavy. I loved this table when we got it. There was a very large flaw about the size of a dollar bill that I decided to live with. Then the first time we used it my glass sweat on the surface and it left a mark. I thought it would dry, the mark remained. Every drip leaves a permanent mark. When I tried to wipe the whole area, I took the gray was off. That was unacceptable to me so I lightly sanded the surface, filled the hole, gray washeded the surface and then put a finish coat on the whole thing. This table is absolutely beautiful! I love it! The finish on it is gorgeous and I love the way the double pedestals are arranged and configured. The reason I had to give it 4 stars was for assembly. It was extremely time consuming and frustrating to put together!! The assembly screws used were only usable with an Allen wrench. The trenches that held each screw only allowed 1/4" to adjust--nearly impossible! it took 2 of us 2 hours or so to assemble. Other than that--I love it so much.
