We are enjoying our bookcase. The light color fits in just fine with the other colors of bookcases. It was pretty easy to put together. This is a very sturdy, solid bookcase and fits perfectly in the small entryway to our coastal bedroom. I rated it a 4 because one of the cane panels wasn't stretched tight enough compared to the others so there was a slight bulge. Otherwise, it would have been a 5. This bookcase is absolutely beautiful!! I own a small little candle company and I really needed to find something big enough to store some of my candles but not too big that it takes up a lot of space! This works perfectly. I got two of these and they are perfect. My father made some kind of extended anti-tipping wall anchors since I wanted the shelves on a wall with a baseboard heater so they were a bit far from the wall for the anchors they come with. I included photos. Please ignore my empty photo frames. I needed to stage the shelves so I'll know exactly how it all fits. The shelves are a beautiful color and exactly what I was looking for. Well, this is exactly what I wanted. I'm very disappointed in the woodgrain "look", and the fact that some of it was peeling off the particle board as I was trying to put it together. Also, the directions are extremely poor! They don't show front/back, or any of that. IT was very confusing and difficult to put together. It has "a b c d e f g", et cetera on all of the pieces listed in the catalog, but the only things that were marked on the items to put together was a and b. Very disappointing!
