It’s a nice size but I’m not a huge fan of the build
•there’s this weird “pin and cylindrical piece that rotates to lock onto that pin” system which feels a rather flimsy (at least until several have all been added to the panel from opposite sides)
•those pins screw into holes on the other end, and nearly every single one damaged the particle board around said holes while being screwed in. Mostly just knocking off a little of the white outer layer, but still.
•the side panels are in two pieces each - an upper and a lower half - and the pins between them feel a little flimsy to me (like, i was worried lifting the bookcase up in case they broke. It stayed together, but I would have preferred a single longer panel to avoid that anxiety)
•several of the tacks for the back panels got bent before i could hammer them in fully. There were enough provided that this wasn’t a big issue, but it was annoying
•Also this was something I could probably have fixed by being more careful but when adding the tacks in the middle of the panels, i often slightly missed the shelves. Anonymous. Fri Sep 18 2026
