Bought this to store the pool floats and toys in because I was sick of carrying them back and forth from the garage. Now, most everything fits in it on the pool deck with room to spare for small things. I have four blown up pool floats (one of which is bulky with a unicorn head and tail), a small kiddy pool float, some pool noodles, padel boards, and the deck umbrella. And like i said i still have room to add any smaller items. Very spacious. Fairly easy to put together. I put most of it together by myself. Attaching the lid to the hinges on the box was the final step and I did need my husband to help with this. I had a hard time keeping it in place while I tried to screw on each side. It seems sturdy enough so far. I am worried about how to use it in the winter without mice nesting in it. We had a shed that the mice took over and made super disgusting. So Im not sure that Id store anything in this over the winter. There are spaces at the bottom for air flow that the mice can easily access. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This outdoor storage container is a perfect addition to my patio. I have two outdoor patio sets and an outdoor dinning table, with all my outdoor furniture, I have so many cushions and pillows. Having this storage container helps so much, it holds all my cushions, pillows and more, with its 260 gallon capacity, I never have to worry about running out of room. The container looks so beautiful with its basket weave design and the coffee color is perfect. It is made out of durable, long lasting resin. I love that I can keep this storage container outside all year long and never have to worry about uv and water damage. All the parts and pieces were included in the cardboard box the container came in, all I needed was a screw driver for the assembly of the side anchors and top spring attachment. Instructions were provided, but only images for the steps and no written directions, so getting started took a bit of time. Once I figured it all out, it was easy from there and then the assembly went quickly. When I finished assembling storage container, I did need help moving it to the area I want it. It is a heavy piece once it’s all built. Also, I did assemble the container outside because it would of never fit through my sliding glass door if it was fully assembled. The container doesn’t have any areas for ventilation so anyone purchasing this item, would have to keep this in mind. A latch is provided so we can lock this up if we choose. Very roomy deck box. Looks nice. Fairly easy to assemble with two people. It's big! The directions for assembling it could be a little better -- small print and not very clear diagrams. My only real disappointment with the box is that rain gets in along the center seam in the top. If I were to do it again, I would buy a waterproof box, not just weather resistant. I use it for storing my sectional cushions, so water getting in was problematic. We remedied the issue by using duct tape on the interior along the seam. Fingers crossed that it holds. But overall, pleased with the deck box. VERY roomy and holds all the cushions to my 6 seat sectional which was what we needed.. Jennifer. Delran, NJ. Wed Aug 05 2026
