Actual palms are notoriously difficult to keep alive. I went through 2 of them before finally deciding to go artificial—one of the best decisions regarding houseplants, especially here in Seattle where there’s limited sunlight a lot of the year. I’m overall pleased with this plant and would recommend if you are looking for a large fake plant, and price is not a consideration. In comparison to other faux plants I would say this is nicer than most, but the price point is pretty inflated- even for the quality. Up close it’s clearly fake, but details at the base are really nice. The base had a good weight so it won’t tip over. The palm fronds are quite difficult to bend but once bent to a shape you want it will stay that way. The packaging was not great and it barely made it here in one piece so that’s a concern.. Jessica.
