Bought this vanity in white oak. I love the looks, but the one drain is not draining fast enough if 2 faucets are on. The plastic in the drain needs to be cleaned twice a week otherwise it will get moldy underneath. Not easy to maintain. The drain insert arrived warped and was replaced by Wayfair.. Anonymous. I am hoping to provide some insight to help others who might be considering this vanity. (1) Construction - it is a solid piece; vanity is fully assembled; the top is boxed separately which I understand to be a good thing. (2) Not solid wood, but it is solid - as per my builder. The wood grain has some texture to it, which is nice. (3) The gold accent is very nice - it is a champagne brushed gold (4) downfall is that the the top and bottom drawers both open from the middle of the vanity - where the gold strip is. The top drawer cannot be accessed from the top of the drawer which will require you to bend down each time you open the drawer - in other words, access to the top drawer is "not easy" - minor detail but for me its a product flaw. (5) the sink is solid, bright white and very modern. Minor flaw - the drain is chrome - I would have preferred this to be champagne gold to MATCH the accents on the piece. Am going to try to swap that out or paint it. I give this 4 stars due to the fact that it is not 100% real wood and also that the top drawer cannot be easily opened. I love the style of it. I took these pictures in natural daylight without flash, the piece is not fully assembled in this photo (just staged in a spare room) which is why the top may look crooked.. Susan. Freehold, NJ. It was hard to tell the tone of the wood from the photos but I am glad I took the gamble, it’s the perfect tone for the look I’m going for. Solid and sturdy. For installation, of course screw into studs where possible. But in retrospect I should have installed a horizontal mounting stud in the wall for more security. But I found other ways to secure it..
