70s Oval Area Rug

Modern style meets a patterned look in this contemporary area rug. It features a geometric ogee design with tessellating oval shapes in brown, tan, and burgundy hues for a subtle touch of color and a mid-century modern feel. Handmade from wool, it shows off a high 0.86'' pile that's ideal for rooms with high foot traffic, where it doesn't trip up your feet or your vacuum. Our favorite? It resists stains, so it holds up against the occasional spill or splash. We recommend pairing it with a rug pad to prevent shifting and sliding underfoot.

This is a stunning rug and it has transformed my room. However my cat loves to scratch it and lots of fibers come up. It’s killing me!! I vacuum up the fibers and it look better but still not as good looking as it was new just a few weeks in so I’m not sure about the longevity of it. But it’s soft thick and gorgeous. Maybe I’ll buy another one in a few years!!!. Holly. Rochester Hills, MI. Wed Sep 16 2026

Seems to be good quality and I get compliments on the bold style. The shag is comfortable under foot and center of the pattern has nice cushioning even without a rug pad. I have no issues, no shedding or anything.. Ashley. Athens, GA. Tue Sep 22 2026

We bought it for under the dining room table but it would be better in a bedroom because of the texture. It is very fine and soft… perfect for bare feet but not so much for random food drops. Otherwise it has great colours and really makes our dining set pop!. Jr. Palm Springs, CA. Mon Jun 08 2026

Nice rug- takes a while to increase with packaging. Not quite as vibrant as online but fine for what we needed. Anonymous. Fri Jul 17 2026

The pile is soft and slightly shaggy while remaining stain-resistant and easy to clean. It’s perfect in medium-traffic areas where comfort can’t be compromised.
