The tempered glass was thicker than most showers, the hardware was strong and sturdy, and the door rolled so smoothly it glided quietly across the rail - no wobbling or sticking! The black finish matches all of the other accessories in my new bathroom and looks amazing! The large pull handles on both sides of the door make getting out of the shower as easy as getting in. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. We've had this door in our tub for 8 years now and it still looks as good as the day it was installed. I'm underwhelmed by this. The quality of the components and mechanical parts seems below average. The seat attachment works about 85% - i can't get it to tighten down and stay square on the bowl. The float and water inlet are the same as a house brand toilet from a big box store i got a couple months ago. Beautiful Crucible knob is an easy way to elevate any piece. I have it here replacing a signature gold tone stainless steel knob on my deep teal Dutch oven. The knob feels substantial and makes it easier to grip the lid. I have attached photos comparing the before-after.
