Set aside a full morning or afternoon to assemble properly. There are lots of steps and nuances to putting this cabinet together. When I read some folks took 6 hours to assemble, I thought it was because they did not have a clue how to assemble something like this. I was wrong. A very skilled person assembled ours and I would say it took about the same. But taking your time makes it look so much nicer. We got the distressed wood one, which at the time was more expensive, but the look was what I was going for. The piece looks beautiful, and I love the options of just lights, lights and heat, and already used the timer feature. Only downside we did not see the large dent (must have happened in transit) in the top edge until it was all glued and assembled!!! I was nervous about purchasing this couch because there were no reviews, but I'm glad I took the chance. It arrived promptly and was well packaged. The shipping box had a bit of damage, but the couch did not. The couch is heavy, but very easy to assemble and I was able to do it on my own. Two of the legs screw in, the two others required screws which were provided with an Allen wrench, and the seat, arms, and back all had brackets that slide into each other making a quick, but sturdy attachment. Note to other buyers: the back cushions, legs, and screws are located in the zipper underneath the seat. The back cushions are very plush and the seat is firm, but comfortable.
