Love this bed. My only wish is that we had purchased it in black (I just wasn't sure if I could pull the trigger on the more dramatic color at the time). If you're on the fence, go with the black!!!! It looks great in the white/ivory color in our new house (so honestly, I'm very happy with the one we chose) and the tall headboard back is nice and stoic. The bed holds our thick pillow-top mattress well. Keep in mind your bed height will be a higher with a thicker mattress on it, unless you have a less cushiony mattress. I'm short so I have to jump a little to get on it, but I still love it. It's a very grown up bed and really elevates our room. Took some time to assemble but worth all the effort! The box it comes in is com pact...you will be surprised! No regrets here and great price for what you get!. Bianca. NY. Tue Oct 06 2026

Designed for those who value both comfort and craftsmanship, this velvet upholstered wingback bed frame brings a refined sense of luxury to the bedroom while remaining grounded in everyday practicality. The tall wingback headboard creates a naturally enclosed, private feel, making it especially comfortable for sitting upright, reading, or unwinding at the end of the day.Thick, high-density 1.8lbs foam padding combined with deep button tufting delivers a plush, supportive surface that feels substantial rather than decorative. Unlike many beds that focus only on the headboard, this design extends the same generous padding and tufted detailing to the footboard, creating visual balance while also helping reduce accidental bumps and maintaining a smooth, cohesive silhouette from every angle.Beneath the upholstery, the reinforced wooden frame is built with strengthened crossbars, solid slats, and a center support system that distributes weight evenly across the bed. Noise-reducing strips are integrated along contact points to minimize friction, helping ensure a stable, quiet foundation for deep, uninterrupted sleep. A raised base adds practical value by allowing easier cleaning and under-bed storage, while handcrafted galvanized nailhead trim completes the design with a subtle, artisanal finish. No box spring is required—simply add your mattress and enjoy a bed that feels as solid as it looks.
