I like this sturdy table and it is a good value. It exactly matches the online images and description. It is straightforward to assemble and came with all the hardware and tools needed. I assembled it alone without any problem it took about 1 hour. I purchased it as an Open Box item which is always hit or miss since Wayfair typically does not perform a thorough inspection of returned items. I was concerned it was going to be damaged because the box was making terrible metal on metal banging sounds upon delivery. It appeared to have been very well packed originally and had foam wrapped around and cable tied to the various pieces however, the original purchaser had cut the cable ties and removed the foam and Styrofoam packing materials. All those loose parts and detached packing materials were thrown back into the box almost no parts of the table were secure (hence the metal on metal banging sounds). The only issue I encountered was difficulty aligning a horizontal stabiling bar that connects the 2 long decorative pieces attached to the table legs.. Winfrey Wright. Fredericksburg. I gave 4 stars mostly for my own fault. the table is pretty narrow. My own bad for not seeing just how narrow it is. Its just wide enough for 2 dinner plates to be across from each other. With 2 people sitting on the ends and 4 people around the table (2 on each side) there is barley enough room for plates and glasses, no extra room for serving platters. This is a well put together table that serves our purpose, the package was heavy however I opened it where I wanted to assemble the table so didn’t struggle much. The good part was that it included a thin foam sheet which can be used as a blanket to help assemble the pieces. Kudos to the packaging team.
