A little damaged by being delivered, scratched, contacted support and next day got back with me on ways to find a solution. But have yet to hear back now. Overall machine is pretty decent, sides get hot at first, but then cools off. The spacing is a little tighter than we thought. Normal 750ml wine bottles can’t really fit in both ways, that shows in picture (that’s a con), so I wouldn’t say 45 bottles. First, Wayfair delivered this to me in two days, three days early! Kudos to Wayfair. There are virtually no combo units like this for less than $500 anywhere - more likely to get a nicer stainless bar fridge/freezer you'd spend nearly $2,000. Still, here's what you should know. The freezer has a small pipe up to the cooling area - that's how the cooling area is cooled....via the freezer. As cold air drops, that's why the minimum temperature of the cooling area is around 41 degrees. For me, the freezer was the main reason to buy this and the cooling area was for my mixers and therefore just a bonus. The unit is quiet and the blue light is pleasing. Overall this is a no-brainer for around $250. Update: one tradeoff is you'll likely need to manually defrost at least once a year. So far, pretty happy with my wine cooler. It is very quiet when refrigeration turns on. Only negative at this point is the cramped spacing when you have two layers of bottles on one shelf…which is necessary to be able to load 90 bottles.
