I got this screening for privacy from human neighbors and animal neighbors. My dogs are easily riled up by people that cut through the yaranimals that pass through , as well. This gives me a better sense of privacy, while also blocking things from my dogs some, too. Its a fabric of types, so its understandable that it has some give and stretch. I am still just trying to figure out how to work with that, which is difficult and Im hoping will be better with some time upright. I got mine for taller fences than mine, because I also have animals trying to come under the fence, and I thought staking it down to the ground at the bottom might help with that. This is extremely large. We have a double layered deck that are very large. This not only covers them, but it would have covered almost half our house if we had not accordion folded and zip tied one side of it. I must say, it actually brought the temperature down quickly once up. I am currently in 100 plus, Texas heat. It made the back deck bearable and stopped the wood flooring from burning our bare feet. I was happy to find these shades for our patio. Hadn't had much luck except to order custom made at three times the price! I wish these were offered in shorter lengths....96 x 96 is 3 feet longer than the openings on my patio, but we can unroll them to the floor at almost 8 feet, or just leave them at the top of our brick wall and have extra fabric on the roll.
