The patterns on the bowls are all unique - no two bowls are alike - and the quality of the printed patterns is very good. I was afraid that they would have a cheap quality printed design, but the patterns on these bowls are smooth, clear, and under the glaze, as opposed to a surface printed design. They are the perfect size for cereal or ice cream (a big scoop). They are a little expensive for 6 bowls, but the quality of the bowls justifies the price. "You get what you pay for."
