OK..Well I went back and forth with cabinets...Studied them all for days, and tried to remove the ones I found that were metal. This cabinet is just the right fit for what we are using it for, a liquor cabinet. The color is gorgeous and the size just right. However it isn’t quite as stable as I would like so we might try to attach it to the wall if possible. Also, while moving the shelves, be aware that the little silver things that hold them up can fall causing the other shelf to fall if you move them. Going to look for better hardware for that. It holds a great amount of items and has been really functional for keeping everything organized. For the price, I think it’s a very solid and affordable option. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because assembly does take some time. There are quite a few pieces, and it took me about 2 hours to fully put together. Also, the shelf heights aren’t adjustable, which may be a downside depending on what you’re planning to store. Exactly as described. There was a small piece of wood on one side that popped out when one of the dowels was pushed in, so deducting one star for that. But overall, it is solid wood, feels sturdy, and just as pictured. Be aware that when empty, it feels inclined to want to tip forward. This was reduced when I put cat food at the bottom and weighed it down a bit. If I had small children, I would absolutely use the wall anchor.
