These are medium duty stair treads. This is my second purchase, the first set were used on my back stairs and have held up nicely for almost a year and a half and still perform and look good. I stapled them on the back stairs, but don't recommend doing that, the cheapo staples rusted. I used double-sided Gorilla tape on the current installation, I'll revisit this review in a year or so and report on how well the adhesion method held up.. Heather. Big Island, Hawaii. Upgrade your stairs with heavy-duty bullnose stair treads designed to provide reliable safety, traction, and durability for outdoor steps, porches, decks, patios, garages, and RV stairs. Each tread features a molded 1-inch bullnose lip that wraps securely over the front edge of your steps, reinforcing the area where slips and trips are most likely. This integrated bullnose improves grip and adds a polished, professional look, making your stairs safer and more reliable than standard flat mats or diamond-plate stair treads. These rubber stair treads deliver superior non-slip performance in wet, muddy, or snowy conditions. They maintain traction on rough surfaces like concrete, brick, stone, and textured RV steps, while also working on smooth surfaces such as wood, painted steps, tile, or metal when securely fastened with tape, adhesive, or screws. Constructed from thick, weather-resistant rubber, these stair treads resist cracking, splitting, and curling, remaining flexible in freezing temperatures and durable under intense heat. Their all-weather construction ensures long-lasting performance even under heavy foot traffic, making them ideal for both residential and commercial applications. These stair treads are designed to fit standard stair edges, providing a reliable solution for most porches, decks, basements, and RV stairs. Steps with oversized or decorative noses may require flat-edge treads, though those lack the edge protection and grip provided by the bullnose design. Installation is simple, and maintenance is low-effort: just shake off dirt, rinse with water, or clean with mild soap. The non-porous rubber surface resists mold, mildew, and stains, keeping your steps safe and ready for daily use. Ideal for homeowners, RV owners, and commercial spaces, these bullnose stair treads deliver a combination of edge safety, superior traction, durable outdoor performance, and easy maintenance. Choosing these treads ensures that your stairs are safer, more stable, and longer-lasting than standard flat mats or diamond-plate step covers. Whether you’re upgrading porch steps, deck stairs, garage entries, or RV and camper steps, these stair treads are the smart, reliable solution for any surface.
