The shelves posed a problem to install because the holes were 15 apart which is on mye inch shorter than the standard stub width in most American homes. Therefore you can only put one screw into the stud. However, they did include drywall anchors. I chose to put the shelves up two and two because of my space, but there are 4 shelves. Overall these shelves are pretty nice. I do really like the look of the wood and they are solidly built.
