It goes great in a room with sloped or low ceilings. It makes a statement, but quietly and modestly. It checks all the boxes and does away with all the unnecessary bells and whistles some beds seem to have. It's lovely with honey oak floors, but truly would fit a variety of different styles. It’s versatile and has a transitional quality to it, making it easy to adapt to any aesthetic. That's a huge deal for anyone who wants to change things up every once in a while. Since it's neutral, it brings unity and cohesion to just about any style. I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. It took my husband about a half hour or so to assemble - and most of that was spent unboxing. Before putting it together, I added adhesive felt pads to the bottom legs for easy sliding and protection of wood floors. It's solid and well-engineered. It doesn't make a peep when getting on and off. I wouldn't be wasting my time writing this review if I didn't think so highly of this product. Beautiful frame and straightforward assembly. There were missing nail holes for the slats, but I skipped this step and have had no issues with the slats staying out. I bought a queen frame for my queen mattress, and the frame is just slightly too large — you can see the slats and gaps on both sides of the mattress when it’s centered. So happy to find a solid frame that will lower my bed to an acceptable height that we can get in and out of easily. As we get older and have mobility issues many of today's mattresses are just too high for ease and safety. This low clearance is perfect and the frame is heavy duty and solid. I cannot give this enough stars - such an easy assembly although two people recommended for ease.
