I chose this tree based on the description of it weighing 9.02kg ( about 20lbs), hopefully heavy enough that our pet wouldn’t knock it over. When it arrived, the box seemed very small and light so I weighed it with a luggage scale. The unopened box weighs just over 10lbs. Very disappointing as it looks nice online. This is a really cool tree! It looks so real and the wooden “trunk” is also really nice. You can still see the attachment area where the branches attach to the trunk would be nice if they used darker tape colors there. And there are a few areas on the branches that you can see the inner-workings, but they are dark colors and blend nicely. And while everything fits together okay, it is just a bit wobbly. It took me about 2.5-3 hours to put it all together for the first time and fluff it up; it's nice to be able to make adjustments in order to really "fill it in" to my tastes! Looking at it, I can't tell that it's fake, minus the lack of fir smell, of course :) I only wish the middle section locked into place somehow with the base section, as moving it once it's all fluffed is difficult, otherwise. It does not come with a storage bag, so either keep the box or order one. Also, the base is a dead giveaway for a fake tree, so be sure to cover it with a skirt of some kind!. Jennifer. The first tree I received had a small set of lights out in the middle section and a hanging limb all the way on the most bottom row of branches. I contacted Wayfair (since the tree was expensive) and they sent a new one right away. The new one is perfect with no flaws and it’s a beautiful tree! love the layered look that allows you to hang large and long ornaments between the layers and they can dangle freely. Branches are sturdy and do not droop from a heavy ornament. I gave it only four stars because it does not have a “twinkle” mode. Lights on lights off. Only two modes, lights on or lights off. Come on you should have a twinkling mode at this price.
