OK..Well I went back and forth with cabinets...Studied them all for days, and tried to remove the ones I found that were metal. I got two of these and they are perfect. My father made some kind of extended anti-tipping wall anchors since I wanted the shelves on a wall with a baseboard heater so they were a bit far from the wall for the anchors they come with. I included photos. Please ignore my empty photo frames. I needed to stage the shelves so I'll know exactly how it all fits. The shelves are a beautiful color and exactly what I was looking for. Exactly as described. There was a small piece of wood on one side that popped out when one of the dowels was pushed in, so deducting one star for that. But overall, it is solid wood, feels sturdy, and just as pictured. Be aware that when empty, it feels inclined to want to tip forward. This was reduced when I put cat food at the bottom and weighed it down a bit. If I had small children, I would absolutely use the wall anchor. It’s obviously not a high-end furniture piece—it’s a simple white laminate finish—but that’s exactly what I expected for around $175. The laminate is actually a plus in a laundry room since it’s easy to wipe clean and doesn’t seem like it will show wear as easily as painted surfaces. My husband assembled it without any issues, and it feels sturdy enough for storing all of our laundry essentials.
