The concept is great and would probably work well in warm climates, however, Canadian winters are not accounted for here. Snow builds up on top, and even with being mindful about shaking it off, our fence began to collapse. The bolts connecting the polls froze and actually snapped. Although Wayfair was great and sent replacement pieces, it was a pain to replace the whole polls as removing the bolt wasn’t an option. Nice quality kennel although I used mine for my Junior chickens to give them a bigger run. The base was easy to assemble. Attaching the mesh wire is definitely a two person job and I highly recommend using leather gloves as there are lots of sharp edges on the mesh for you to get cut. I have a large doorway that Ive been wanting to block off, but its so wide Ive struggled to find a good solution. This gate is perfect! It is sturdy, no problems with wobbling or falling.
