We are so happy with this playhouse! Our daughter is 2 (almost 2.5) and has been absolutely obsessed with it since the day we set it up. The pizza oven and grill are such cute features and honestly what sold us — she loves “cooking” for everyone and serving little pizzas all day long. The working doorbell was also such a fun surprise and adds a really interactive touch that keeps her entertained. There are so many little details that make it feel extra special without being overwhelming. It took a few hours to setup but was overall fairly easy. The size is great too — big enough for imaginative play without taking over the whole yard. It feels sturdy, looks adorable, and has already become the main event every time we go outside. The playhouse was pretty simple to put together. We opted for a wood house in hopes to keep the temperature lower in summer months. Its very cute! It was fairly easy to assemble -- we didnt have problems with pieces missing or not fitting at all, and did it in about 6 hours all together. Some of the wood pieces are not in great condition, arriving already with splits in them or fraying (the wood is thin and splits easily), and inconsistent painting on some pieces. We paid 400 and I feel the quality is appropriate for that price, but if we had paid 700 I would be more upset about these flaws. Only other note is that I wish the door was taller--my daughter is 5 and we know she may only get a couple of years out of this at this point, but she is already inches above the door opening and has to duck to enter. The design could easily incorporate a taller door into the frame (we may end up hand-cutting a taller door) and this would increase the lifespan of the product in families.
