Easy to install, I really like the finish it has. I'm using it to give color to my house, the surface is matte smooth. The surface does not reflect direct light. I purchased the color brown and it does look as pictured on the site. The variation in color is hard to discern from tile to tile, until it’s on the wall. Once up, you can see all the slight variation. Even though the color is brown, in my option it leans to a cool town brown. Champagne Bronze faucet finish looks good with it as well as nickel. Handmade Mexican Talavera tile with a colorful ornate floral design on an off-white ground. Because each tile is made by hand, slight variations in color and finish are normal and part of its character. DISCLAIMER:All of our Talavera tiles have a heavily hand-made process involved; as such, imperfections are expected. Color variations are to be expected from batch to batch. What you see on your screen might not be exactly what you will get, this is mostly due to several factors, among others: lighting when the picture was taken, lighting in your own monitor, but mostly changes in the glazes used between batches. All these factors are beyond our control. If in doubt, we recommend you to order a sample before committing to a bigger order. This tile has limited outdoors use, we dont recommend its use on temperatures under 40 degrees. It is not frost-proof. It is not suitable for inside pools as the chemicals involved on water cleaning will destroy the clay. Because this item is handmade, slight variations in size may occur. We used these tiles in a bathroom because they are slightly rough, nonslip, nonabsorbent and tough. We cut them in half so they appear to match an existing tile/brick outside of the bathroom.
