I’m enamored with this natural reed fencing. Initially, I intended to install expensive shades, but I opted for these instead. They’re incredibly cost-effective. I got this screening for privacy from human neighbors and animal neighbors. My dogs are easily riled up by people that cut through the yaranimals that pass through , as well. This gives me a better sense of privacy, while also blocking things from my dogs some, too. Its a fabric of types, so its understandable that it has some give and stretch. I am still just trying to figure out how to work with that, which is difficult and Im hoping will be better with some time upright. I got mine for taller fences than mine, because I also have animals trying to come under the fence, and I thought staking it down to the ground at the bottom might help with that. This Tonkin bamboo fence makes an excellent outdoor privacy fence with it's naturally straight and compact form, making for a less porous fence screen. This fencing consists of thick bamboo shoots connected with thin metal rods. The 6 by 8 fencing weighs over 80 pounds so it was somewhat difficult to handle. It does not come with any way to attach it to posts or support. My goal was to zip tie the fencing to metal posts along my property line so that I could cover the view of the side of my neighbor’s garage. I hoped to add a decorative touch to my garden area. Getting the fencing unboxed and set up required two people because of the weight. It is well made but it didn’t really solve my particular problem. I’m unsure how I’ll use the fencing now. It’s too heavy to move around easily. I’m also concerned it won’t hold up well to Chicago winter weather. Be prepared to figure out a way to support the fencing. For what it is, it’s well made.. I used this to zip tie to a low fence and gate to create a partition between me and my apartment neighbor. I received the slats, but it appears that there are slats in one package that measures 6 ft when I wanted 60" (5 ft). There is a second package that appears to have an assortment of sizes.
