Have not installed them yet but do like the design of these lights. They trim around the light is crisp white. There is a small gasket that will help make sure the light is sealed so no air gap. The light is thin and the springs on the side seem heavy duty. The junction box itself is metal not plastic like some others. They state they are insulation safe which is for a remodeling. These lights are great. I was able to install them myself and I am not an electrician (although a very capable DIYer). The box sits perfectly inside the ceiling and the switch to adjust the light temperature is on the side facing the hole so you don't have to keep pulling it out to adjust. The lights are wafer thin and the clips are easy enough to manage. It was easy to install with the magnets. The light has more lumens and it came with 3000K color temperature selected. My only complaint is that there were no instructions on how to remove the wires if you wanted to change the connection. I ordered a large number of these fixtures to replace old bulb based fixtures in my house. These look good and work well, if you can get them installed. Unfortunately, the retention springs that are used to hold the light in place within the can are way too stiff. When trying to bend them to position in the clips within the can, the springs snap in half, rendering the light useless, because you can no longer get them installed properly. I have had at least 6 of them snap their spring. Wayfair was nice enough to send out replacements, but I would be very hesitant of buying these. If you do, make sure to wear goggles when installing, because when those springs snap, it can be dangerous with how much tension is on the spring and your face will probably be right next to them.. I found these lights to fit an awkward previous gambel light hole. This worked fine and the lights are as communicated. However, these lights are clearly a return which was never inspected, wires from the previous attempted install were simply cut 3 above the lights wiring connection. Additionally one light did not arrive with a junction box cover which would not meet code for installation. Please be better Wayfair and take accountability for returns in less than new condition..
