It is firmer than I like - am hoping the seat cushion will soften up a bit (I've had it for 4 days). There appears to be some kind of a brace or support running down the middle of the seat that causes you to slip off to the side a bit unless you're centered on it when sitting or reclining. Great Lounger!! I bought this to help me get through my chemo therapy after colon surgery. I was diagnosed with Stage II elevated adenocarcinoma in November of 2025. Post surgery and then through my first two rounds of chemo pills my recliner just wasn’t doing it for me. But now, I have my own “lounge of luxury”.
