A really nice little spotlight that adds a bit of fun design. I was looking for a floor light that would be able to provide a good amount of light for my sewing table. This is absolutely perfect! It doesnt have a huge amount of light if you were using it for a more practical lamp, but has more of a focused spotlight which could really help accent certain areas in your home. This would look great in a reading room, or in my case, behind my sewing table where I do crafting. It arrived in a few pieces and needed assembly. For me, this was a little tricky to put together, the stand for the light is so thin that it was hard for me to get a good grip on it to twist it into place. But, I was able to get it all together. The base for this lamp is very heavy! So, be careful moving it. I assume the base is heavy to prevent the much thinner stand from tipping over. The light fixture can be adjusted up and down for a more focused area of light. The foot switch is a great touch! Its easy to turn it on and off.
