The solid core construction allows up to 0.5 inches of trimming per edge (top, bottom, left, right) to fit unique rough openings seamlessly. Please note that hollow core doors are not recommended for trimming, as cutting may compromise their structural integrity. Q: Why choose this system over rigid pre hung door freight units? A: Traditional large double-door frames easily twist or break during freight. Our 3-package modular system guarantees pristine arrival and allows fully customized hardware and key lock positioning. Q: Can I paint or stain the door to match my existing décor? A: Yes! Both the white primed door panels and the natural pine wood door panels are fully paintable and stainable. The smooth, factory-primed surface (on white doors) and the natural wood grain (on pine doors) are ready to accept paint or stain, allowing you to achieve any color or finish that complements your interior design. Q: What is the return process for this door slab? A: Please keep the original packaging and repack the door in its original condition to ensure a smooth return process.

I love the door it is beautiful! The only thing is you need to get an installer who knows what they’re doing. I also felt it needed to be painted. So I made my installer paint it white. It’s a beautiful sturdy door! Love it !. Franca. Brooklyn, NY. Mon Oct 20 2025

I needed a double door for my home (as it started as a church). This door works perfectly as the original was painted and 3 panel. I am able to paint the door on both sides. I prefer wood but that is not the original look of the church so this is a great door with more insulation and lower infiltration.. Anonymous. Sun Sep 13 2026
