The lamp is beautiful and works well in my office. The lamp shade is easy to assemble and filters the light while also providing sufficient illumination. One section of the body of the lamp didn’t align precisely however, with the natural appearance of the stand, it’s not very obvious. I did need some help attaching the base so that the lamp didn’t tilt. My dad had to hold the base for me so I could align the threads of the base and the body correctly. Great quality lamp that was easy to put together and looks nice once in place. This has a rolled up lamp shade but other than the dark line at the top and bottom of the shade and the seam, it is not obvious from a distance.
