Well I have it out of the box the reason for this purchase was I have tall ceilings and I needed a exhaust fan that I didn’t have to figure out how to get additional pieces or have to build down from the ceiling to close the gap. This is a beautiful, sleek looking range hood. It has great features and is very well made. The convertible option is huge for those of us who don't currently have a vented hood. It is heavy but installation looks like it will be straight forward. My installation is delayed since I have to remove cabinets over the stove, find the backsplash tiles that current end at the bottom of the cabinet and continue it up before installing the hood. This is a work in progress. I’m so far very happy with the quality of this range hood. The look is what attracted me to it. I wanted something modern but not too common. I will need to follow up with more pics after is fully installed. It is quite heavy so I’m reinforcing my ceiling just to make sure it is very secure.
