Important Installation Notice: This protruding niche requires a pre-framed wall cavity and cannot be installed directly over finished walls. The listed 60×32"tub surround dimensions do NOT include the niche’s required 3-1/8" depth behind the tub wall. Ensure your wall opening matches the niche’s exact dimensions (55-3/8" W × 11-3/4" H × 3-1/8" D) before installation. If your tub surround can’t accommodate the required space, opt for the alternate model without a built-in niche. Search for model WDBR2591 for more details.

This drop-in acrylic bathtub measures 60 inches long, 32 inches wide, and 20 inches high with 2-inch reinforced walls, with interior dimensions of 54" L x 26" W and 11" soaking depth. Constructed from thick molded acrylic reinforced with multi-layer fiberglass backing, it provides structural rigidity, weight support, and resistance to cracking, flexing, or deformation over long-term use. The surface is finished in UV-resistant glossy white acrylic to resist yellowing, fading, and discoloration. Designed for drop-in or built-in installation on standard tub decks or alcove platforms, the tub is available with either left-hand or right-hand drain to fit various plumbing layouts. The interior features a contoured basin and sloped backrest for ergonomic support, and the floor has a textured non-slip surface for safety during entry and exit. Insulated acrylic construction helps maintain water temperature for longer soaks, though actual retention depends on installation and ambient conditions. The non-porous surface resists moisture, stains, and soap residue; routine cleaning is recommended. Faucet, supply lines, and additional plumbing components are not included, and installers must verify compatibility with existing plumbing. All components should be inspected upon delivery before installation. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper structural support, alignment, and compliance with local plumbing codes. Looks sleek and modern. We had contractors replacing our entire tubshower area, so we didn’t install it ourselves, but they commented that it was a nice tub and easy to install. For some reason, the drain and overflow accessories weren’t compatible with our plumbing system, so we had to swap those out, and I wish deer valley made it easier to find other options that are compatible not only with different plumbing but with different finishes. It does seem like the anti-slip will work, but I can also feel a bit on the sides where it’s less supported underneath. Overall I really like it.. Erin. Clarksburg, MD. Mon Aug 10 2026

Architec tubs by Duravit are a modern approach to the standard alcove application. Ideal for small spaces, this compact tub eliminates the need for costly installation fees while providing lasting benefits, such as easy cleaning and a sleek appearance.

First, the finish quality on this tub is very good, looks good. my main concern, and why I did not give it 5 stars is because the specifications and the CAD drawings spec the actual length at 66". However, the length is actually 65-3/4 " at the top of the tub and 65-5/8"at the bottom. This presented a problem requiring one of the end walls to be furred out so that the backerboard and tile installed correctly My rough-in was at 66-1/16" so as to allow the tub to slide in easily if it had been the length shown. Just beware and don't go by the CAD drawings.. Michael. Fishersville, VA. Sat Jul 13 2024

When this tub works, it’s wonderful! I wanted a heater but didn’t get one. I bought this instead and found I really didn’t need one. The water stays warm the entire time.
