Love this shelving unit. Got scared when the box filled with small parts arrived, but it was super easy to put together and love the solid wood shelves, none of that MDF board. Decided to use it under my kitchen counter. I just didn't use the top shelf, which was possible by just capping it off one level shorter. The wood that they are made of (which is a type I was not familiar with) is very lightweight, but seems sturdy - the boards almost seem hollow core when you first handle them. I took off one star because, while the dimensions listed are accurate, I was misled by the picture of the shelves being used for books and they’re really not deep enough for that purpose, unless you like a lot of overhang.. The boards are individually wrapped so that’s nice. They are very light weight and a good color.
