A famous cooking TV show and publication rated Tramontina next to the All Clad, which was a little over 3 times more than the Tramontina Signature. I decided that since I'm not a professional chef, or even aspiring to be, the Tramontina would suit me just fine. I had just donated all of my cast iron and porcelain coated cast iron and decided on the Tramontina. I had just donated my porcelain coated cast iron because of its weight and arthritis in my hands and wrists, so needed a replacement. This soup pot is absolutely gorgeous, heats beautifully, and is just the right size. The smooth shape of the two pour spouts is perfect--no dribbling or spillage.
