Pretty sturdy piece! I combined it with the corner shelving unit and rearranged the rods & shelves to fit my closet. It is definitely solid and I like that the pieces don't really dent or scratch. We had bought the add on top shelf to extend the upper shelf space but realized our closet wasn’t tall enough to accommodate it which is fine and now we have this small hidden storage spot on top. My only real concern is that the clothes hanging rod attaches to the wall with drywall anchors (good) but to the cabinet with the tiniest screws you’ve ever seen. I’m worried the weight of my coats will rip the screws out of the wood eventually. Otherwise very happy with this purchase. My daughter’s bedroom was built with no closet, which is strange and had used a separate bedroom closet for hanging her clothes. Really impressed with how easy it was to put together. I did have to have the shelves cut down to fit my closet, but I knew that going into purchasing and I also cut down one of the metal rods as well because the far side is short shorter (by my design).
