Beautiful gate! I’m still installing it. It’s missing a screw for the latch, so that’s a trip to the hardware store. The posts in the ground are very short so I will need to pour cement for it to be stable. Good price for a Plow and Hearth product. FYI-Their items usually need protective coats against rust.. Cat Gate for Doorway, Auto Close Pet Gate with Extension Kits, No Drilling Pressure Mounted Dog Gate for Stairs, Doorways, Kitchen, Hallway

Originally we purchased this 51 tall gate to keep 3 curious cats away from 2, 25lb foster boston terriers. Our smallest cats tries, but cant squeeze through the 1 12 spaces between the bars and the wall. Turns out one of the dogs can jump that high and touch the top of the gate. Thankfully, we keep the dogs contained in a room with a lower floor, adding 8. Lesson-Make sure to get the best height. Only complaint is there is no leverlatch at the bottom to keep the gate swinging in just one direction, like other gates we have. We fear a strong enough pup can ram the bottom open without that latch.. Melanie. PA. Thu Oct 15 2026

Single-Folding Security Gate: Our folding security gates are made of strong 3/4" G14 channel steel, with a black powder coat finish to preserve integrity and extend longevity. The safety lock design increases security, and an installation kit can ease your assembly. Such stretchable door gates are ideal for securing your high-traffic hallways or entryways in any business or industry.

High quality gate- but your description dimensions are wrong so I had to leave the wheels off to get it to fit by less than an inch. Please correct this. Gate measures 84.5 inch high. The wheel add another 3 inches making it too large. There is a gauge in one of the crossbars at the top. Not a big deal but it did not happen in shipping. See photos. Overall fits my needs. Send me a gift card for the issues.. Robert. Key Largo, FL. Mon Sep 11 2023

I bought this gate kit at the beginning of summer and finally got it done! It was super easy to assemble i highly recommend watching the video instructions they helped a lot. Im not an experienced carpenter so it was super helpful. It took about 2 hours from start to finish and looks great! I ordered 2 more to make a driveway gate to match the fence we built too. Very happy with this product. My one complaint is they shorted us about 15 black screws and I had to use gray ones that I had to complete it fully. Again shorted 10 screws for 2 kits that I bought for the driveway gate. Still it looks great. I had to orient my gate hardware differently because im adding wheels and wanted solid wood on the side wheels will be attached to. i dont mind seeing the hardware on the opposite side. I like the way that looks as well the hardware is so attractive. Im happy with this, easy to assemble, product. Anonymous. Portland, ME. Wed Sep 17 2025

Spent the afternoon putting the arch together yesterday. Very ornate and sturdy. I dont think it would stand up to wind and whatnot without being anchored with that being said Im going to Anchor it to our metal pipe fence gate. It takes two people to put it together and Im thinking it takes a third person to stand it all up. But I cant wait till the Roses Grow large enough to cover the trellis!. David. US. Thu Sep 03 2026
