It's crafted from kiln-dried solid and engineered wood with a weathered finish that lends a rustic vibe. We love the sturdy pedestal base. Seating up to four, it's complete when paired with the chairs of your choice and some pretty table linens.

Some key pieces in the base have slowly come apart after assembling. Even after using a set torque setting, it came apart and makes a tremendous amount of noise. Our solid teak patio series is built to last. All joints are mortise-toned at all joints and dowelled for strength. This teak is Lacy Act compliant and sustainably harvested on teak farms with consistently replanting the plantation. Teak is a very durable wood and to demonstrate its durability US Navy uses teak for the decks of our aircraft carriers. They can be oiled with teak oil and then wiped dry to prevent them from becoming sticky.

This table top is beautiful! I had an existing base from my old tile top table so I was able to attach this table top to the existing base. It arrived extremely well packaged with no damage what so ever. The finish on it seems to be a stain or a protection clear coat…I’m not sure. I purchased a teak protector to keep it from turning grey but I’m not sure if I actually need to use it or not?? I would definitely purchase another one if I needed to buy another teak table top!! Beautiful table! Easy to assemble with 2 people. (I would definitely recommend 2 people, I don't even know how it would be possible for 1 person...) The finish is not a dark brown/walnut, it has an orange tint to the wood tone. Can seat 6 people comfortably. (I highly doubt you can fit 8 people.) It's almost been a year and the table is still standing. We use it every night for our family of 5, and it's the go to table when guests arrive. HOWEVER, the table is starting to become squeaky. Any time you apply weight to the tabletop, or try to move the table, it squeaks.... LOUDLY. We've lubricated all the screws and joints, placed felt between the joining wood parts, and tightened the screws. It still makes A LOT of noise. We would LOVE to find a remedy to this problem, because we LOVE the table. I’m super happy with this. I almost didn’t buy it and looked for a long time to buy something else because of the one review that talks about crumbs getting in the crevices and having to vacuum it. I really hate crumbs and all of that but so far, it’s not been a big issue for me whatsoever. I have vacuumed it a couple times but they come right out. 48" Diameter Farmhouse Round Table is an amazing engineered table creation utilizing hand inlay. This very rare-to-find hand-made yet properly engineered solid wood table was proudly made possible from a lifetime of furniture manufacturing experience. The table base and top center bands are handcrafted using reclaimed solid New Zealand Pine that is specifically hand-selected, sourced, and imported for the final combined effect. The hand finishing is an open grain Farmhouse style wood finishing giving protection but maintaining the very natural effects of the reclaimed and solid woods used. Minor assembly of the top to the base allows easier placement into the home.
