In addition, all corten steel series planters are equipped with styrofoam insulation to help keep plants healthy in both hot and cold extremes. Veradek corten series planters are designed so you can be confident that your planter will hold up against weather related cracking and splitting. With the perfect balance of design, structure and purpose, the Corten Steel Long Box will pair well with your favorite flowers or plant arrangements. I am OBSESSED with these! I've loved window boxes since living in Germany in the 1990s but always had a hard time finding ones to fit my deck railings. I've done the wire holder with plastic box and they just looked blah. These look amazing! I can't wait until the grass grows tall and petunias and sweet potato vines spill over. I ended up also buying the supporting deck railing brackets because I worried about the composite balusters not being able to support such a heavy box when weighted with wet soil.. Maria. MA.
